Mission Statement
Unchanged since Inception in 1995
Kainos Enterprises exists to develop and implement systems to increase the number of people in church.
- These systems will suit a wide range of evangelical styles and philosophies.
- They will concentrate on winning the unchurched.
- They will target individual spiritual growth, not merely reaching more people.
- They will focus on local churches as distinct and separate organisms.
- They will be directed to the needs of the Canadian church first.
- They will address their own funding requirements.
New Churches
To stimulate the start of new churches in Canada and beyond by providing practical methodology, support and motivation. The hallmark of these churches will be growth from the unchurched population.
Existing Churches
To assist in restructuring the systems of existing churches to improve the opportunity for numerical growth by conversion through the ministry of that church. The synergy of parallel endeavours is encouraged. Our role in cooperative programs between churches will be limited except in parent/ daughter church situations.
Church Leadership
To help stimulate and train pastors, theological students and other church leaders in the use of methodology that improves the probability of numerical growth by conversion in both new and existing churches.
Parachurch Organizations
To use transferable skills and techniques as applicable for denominations, parachurch agencies, missions and businesses. Kainos will integrate seamlessly with other agencies to fulfil the Kainos mission under their auspices wherever appropriate. The Kainos profile of all programs will be subordinated to the other agency’s identity if desirable and will be consistent with church development.
Administration & Finance
To create administrative structure and to add staff only as necessary to achieve the mission. Financing for Kainos will be from a blend of creative alternatives incorporating and blending fees, sales, missionary support, direct donations, endowment, unsecured leverage and “tentmaking” alternatives.
Openness
To openly share all materials, principles and techniques with all, subsidizing the dispersion of information as resources become available. While structures will include profit making alternatives, all “profits” will be returned to assisting local churches. The highest priority for subsidy is placed on starting churches.
